As reported by The Long Island Business News, a vacant parcel of industrial-zoned land in Calverton has sold for $3.2 million.

Hildreth Real Estate purchased the 10 acres of land at 1001 Scott. Ave.

The buyer plans to develop an industrial warehouse and manufacturing facility to be leased by multiple tenants.

The property, on the eastern end of the Enterprise Park at Calverton, is in the middle of several industrial buildings, which were developed after Jericho-based Engel Burman Group acquired 500 acres in 2001. The company has since sold most of it to end-users who’ve built more than 2 million square feet of industrial facilities.

Ralph Perna of Schacker Realty represented the buyer, as well as the seller, EBS Building Systems LLC, in the sales transaction.
