A commercial property in Merrick has sold for $1.6 million.

BX Sunrise LLC, an affiliate of a Merrick-based commercial real estate investor, purchased the 2,704-square-foot building on .20 acres at 153 Sunrise Highway.

The property is occupied by long-time tenant A-1 Transmissions & Complete Auto Repair Center.

Jesse Jimenez of Primal Property Group represented the buyer, while James Parnes and Chris Ferencsik of Schacker Realty represented the seller, I&J Properties LLC, in the sales transaction.
