A Queens-based manufacturer has closed on its purchase of an industrial property in Farmingdale for $6.2 million.
National Compressor Exchange, headquartered in Ridgewood, bought a 31,873-square-foot industrial building on 1.49 acres at 5 Dubon Court.
The company, which makes a wide variety of compressors, parts and related products used in HVAC systems and other applications, received economic incentives from the Town of Babylon Industrial Development Agency to assist in the acquisition and renovations of 5 Dubon Court and an adjacent 40,213-square-foot building at 1900 New Highway.
National Compressor Exchange will be relocating its manufacturing operations to the two East Farmingdale properties, where it will employ 45 people, according to the IDA.
Ralph Perna of Schacker Realty represented the buyer, while his Schacker Realty colleague Gary Friedman represented the seller, Adore Floors, in the Dubon Court sales transaction.
